| Hello everyone, I’m Anthony Aniciete, and I am proud to once again express my gratitude as I continue to hold the title of College Athlete of the Month for the State of Nevada. I am currently a Redshirt Junior at Tiffin University in Ohio, pursuing a major in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, along with a minor in Homeland Security. Being recognized multiple times throughout my wrestling career is truly an honor, and it continues to motivate me to keep striving. |
| This past season, I put together one of my best years yet, finishing with an outstanding 23-3 record. Throughout the year, I focused on staying consistent, disciplined, and improving in every position. All of that work paid off when I captured both my conference and regional titles, significant milestones that reflect the effort I put in daily. |
| Heading into the National Tournament, my goal was to prove that I belong among the best in the country. I delivered a stellar performance, battling my way to the Finals and finishing 2nd in the Nation. A major highlight was my semifinals match, where I dominated and secured a major decision, demonstrating the level I am capable of competing at on the national stage. |
| I am beyond grateful and give all the glory to God, as none of this would be possible without Him. I also want to thank my team for pushing me daily and helping me grow, as well as my family for their constant love and support throughout this journey. I take great pride in representing Nevada and competing at the highest level, and I will continue to chase that top spot on the podium while growing both as a student and an athlete. Thank you again to everyone who has supported me along this journey.. |
