Battle Born

Nevada, is known as the Battle Born state, yet our athletes haven’t received the honor and recognition that this name implies—not that they haven’t earned or deserved it, but for some reason getting the word outside of Nevada has been quite difficult, until now.
Finally our athletes are getting themselves out on the front lines, and at all levels. Their credentials are reaching out beyond the state borders, and even into the International borders.
Wrestling has been one of the most under-recognized out of all the sports, but our Nevada wrestlers are indeed Battle Born and are now helping to get Nevada the recognition it deserves. We have many wrestlers wrestling at the college and International levels. We have female wrestlers helping to prove that wrestling is a girls sport too, and our high school and youth wrestlers are no longer settled for just winning at the state level, but they also venture out into National and International tournaments
