Who’s # 1

Reflecting back on my experience with Flo’s Who’s # 1, I can say it was an honor and a great experience. It is quite amazing to be recognized as one of the best wrestlers in the nation, and to be the first to represent Nevada in this type of event.

The event took place in Dallas, Texas and consisted of 10 High School Women’s matches. When we arrived we received gear, and we all were interviewed in a press conference. We had pictures taken. It was a big event, and to be honest, I was extremely nervous. Looking back I wish that I had not been so nervous.

During the evenings the staff treated us to dinner which was nice because this allowed us wrestlers to get to know each other. Many of the wrestlers on the card I had met during my years of being on the National Circuit, and some I had not met but had the pleasure to watch in some of their matches.

The event was very nice, it was incredible to be involved in such an event. I had a lot of support from my family, friends, and my coaches. My sister also came along to be my training-partner, which I will be forever thankful for. I believe that this experience will prepare me for more big-stage type of matches that I look forward to competing in, in the future. It was just such an honor to be a part of the first Flowrestling’s All-Women event.

I would like to thank my coaches Don McGregor and Nap Aniciete, The Aniciete Family, Desiree Zavala and my family for coming out to Dallas to prepare and support me. Reflecting back on my experience with Flo’s Who’s Number One I can say it was a privilege and a great experience. It is quite exciting to be considered one of the best wrestlers in the Nation.

Peyton Prussin Staying On Top

After coming back from a pretty bad foot injury, Life University’s Peyton Prussin, is showing that nothing is going to keep her down now! She knows what she wants, and she is going after it. Peyton has been doing extremely well and proving that she is, Indeed, Battle Born. She puts in the work and battles it out on the mat in dominating fashion.

Peyton’s stats speak for themselves, and they are also landing her some sponsorships and inspiring her to give back to the wrestling community in Las Vegas, where she is from. She recently went back and helped coach the up and coming wrestlers for Chase Pami’s Gold Rush Wrestling Club. Peyton has always been a power house, and it will be great watching how far she can take this.

Here are her past and present stats:

  • 11x HS All American
  • First NV girl to qualify for Boys state
  • Folk style National Champion
  • Freestyle National Team Member
  • Fargo Runner Up
  • Bronze Medal at Sori Cup in Japan
  • NAIA National Champion – Undefeated season
  • Captains Cup draftee
