Hello my name is Taitan Green–what a great opportunity to share who I am and what I do as a Nevada sports athlete. First, I will be having my 13th Birthday here on June 22. I am a multi-sport athlete; I wrestle, play football and basketball. My first pair of wrestling shoes went on at that age of five-years old. Wrestling has provided me an outstanding work ethic, conditioning and athleticism. My biggest supporters are my older brother Tyler Green (State Wrestling Champ) and my Dad Tim Green, who gets me everywhere I need to be.
I have been in the room training with Nevada Elite/Hardwork Academy for those 8 years. I have been trained by Outstanding Dedicated coaches. Coach Mumm, Coach Sorgani, Coach Sully, Coach Gonzales, and Coach Trey. Without their training, I wouldn’t be the wrestler they have me to be. I have traveled to many States wrestling in my eight years; Iowa, Kansas City Missouri, Tulsa Oklahoma, Utah, Idaho and California. My most favorite sport would be football. I play running-back and corner on defense. I may be small in stature, but play BIG when it matters. This past year I played rec. Basketball for the first time, and I loved the challenge of a new sport. The saying, “once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy” there is a lot of truth to that! I wouldn’t be who I am today if I wasn’t a wrestler! I also love giving back to the sport and I Love being a referee!
When sports aren’t in season and I’m not training, I love to chill with my dog Zoey. I love going to the park and shooting hoops with my buddies/brother, or getting competitive with them on the PS4 in NBA2k or Madden.
