My name is Satoshi Davis, and my wrestling journey began at the age of nine in Hawaii, training at Elite Wrestling under Coach Rodger Berlin. I am an 8th-grade student at Game Changers Sports Academy (GCSA) and wrestle full-time, five days a week, at Gold Rush. Wrestling is not just a sport but a passion that I pursue with dedication and effort. For me, wrestling is fun, intense, and challenging. Also, I love traveling with my teammates. As a Student-Athlete, I strive to maintain a 3.85 GPA, balancing my academic and athletic commitments.
I plan to continue my wrestling journey in high school. My short-term goals include winning the Nevada State Championship multiple times, becoming an All American at Fargo, and placing at numerous National Championships. I am committed to the process, knowing that the results will follow. My long-term goals are to wrestle in Division 1 College, maintain an excellent GPA, and strive for a spot on the Olympic Team for Team USA or JAPAN. Additionally, I am interested in MMA, a sport that will further challenge and improve my skills.I am a multi-sport athlete who has trained in Jiu-jitsu since I was three years old with my brother Forrest and my dad Bryce, who has a Black Belt in Jiu-jitsu and is the person I look up to. I won Kids Pam Am in 2018 and won multiple times in IBJJF. Also, I played tackle football for seven years, and this season, I played for Vegas Strong 14U as a DE DT. Vegas Strong 14U won the D1 National Title and went undefeated this season.
Listed below are some of my Major Wrestling Accomplishments: *2024 US OPEN – Double All-American / Greco Runner-Up, Freestyle 6th place *2023 Kids National – All-American / 3rd place *Multiple Times Nevada and Hawaii State Youth Champion *2023 Battle of the Belt Champion
Lastly, my success in wrestling and other sports is not just the result of hard work, study, and effort. If it were not for the outstanding coaches and great teammates, I would not be who I am today. Thank you to all my coaches who have helped me along the way. Coach Rodger Berlin taught me how fun wrestling is! Coach Chase Pami pushed me hard and believed in me. Coach Jay Amina taught me respect and life lessons through football. Also thank you to Coach RJ Richter, Jake Rollans, Ed Sorgani, AJ Guardado, and Gavin Thammavongsa. I love all my coaches! Finally, my parents and brother Forrest have always supported and believed in me since I started my sports career.
