| Hi, my name is Nathan Pritchard. I’m a Junior attending Fernley High School. I began wrestling when I was seven years old. My dad signed me up with Fernley Youth Wrestling Club. The club was run by Jen and Tim Garret and the Head Coach at that time was Jonh Chalk. The coach liked to give all his kids nicknames and his name for me was angry. That was in 2015 and at that time The State Tournament was held in Las Vegas at a casino. |

| It was the last year for a while that they held all three styles at the same time. I was a 50lb 2nd year Bantam and there were 29 kids in my bracket that year. That was one of the biggest tournaments that I had gone to that year. I wrestled some very tough kids who later became Nationally Ranked Wrestlers. In Freestyle I lost to Drake Hooiman for First place 16-11 and then lost True Second to Manuel Saldate 13-2, I ended up taking 3rd Place. I placed 4th in Folkstyle and 6th in Greco that year. |

| The next season I played Little League baseball and SYFL football. I returned to Fernley Youth Wrestling Club that next season. Also, that year my dad signed me up for Nevada Elite Wrestling Club, the Head Coaches at that time were Ed Sorgani and Coach Mumm. I started traveling to a few out of state tournaments. After a couple of seasons, I stopped playing football after I got a couple concussions. A couple of years later I stopped playing baseball as well to focus on wrestling. I started going to more National Tournaments in neighboring states. |

My Freshman year in high school I started wrestling for Fernley High School under Head coach Jake McCullar. For the high school season, as a Freshman I placed 2nd in the State Tournament. Later that year after high school season, I traveled to the NHSCA tournament in Virgina Beach with Coach Mumm and other Nevada Elite teammates. I received All American Honors placing 8th as a Freshman at that tournament. Also, that year I placed 2nd in Freestyle and 3rd in Greco at the USA Western States Championships. |

| My Sophomore season at Fernley I placed 6th at the Sierra Nevada Classic Tournament. I won my first State Title at 132 lbs. My Junior season at Fernley I placed 2nd at the SNC Tournament as well as won my Second State Title at 144lbs. So far, my High School Record is 150 wins and 27 losses. I plan on returning to Virgina Beach again this year with Coach Mumm and Coach Sullivan, as well as some of my Nevada Elite teammates. My plan is to wrestle through the summer until high school season starts again and win another State Title. I have enjoyed my time and the friends that I have made through wrestling throughout the years. |
