Hello, my name is Kitana Leafaatoto, currently ranked #12 in the country at 190 pounds. I am a State Champion and State Runner-Up, and I recently competed at Super 32, where I placed 5th. Leading up to Super 32s, I trained intensely, combining weightlifting, cardio on the bike, and wrestling practice. I pushed my limits, even squatting 315 pounds. My mindset going into Super 32s was simple: treat it like any other tournament and dominate.

What sets me apart as an athlete and wrestler is my confidence. Every time I step on the mat, I tell myself, “I’m the best, and anyone who steps across from me has made a mistake.” I always strive to win and continuously improve. During the week of Super 32s, I gave everything I had in practice even while cutting weight.

Although placing 5th left me unsatisfied, I saw it as an opportunity to grow. I know there are areas I can improve, and I’m determined to address them. On the positive side, I felt accomplished with college recruiters taking notice of my performance, and some even approached me directly! I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to compete in this tournament and to witness the best of wrestlers at Super 32s. This experience has fueled my motivation to get better.
