| After a slow recovery, and a lot of rehabilitation, Destin decided to come back to the mat. He chose Smash Nationals as his comeback tournament. Smash brought a lot of talent from all over the country, so he knew it would be tough. Destin put in the work needed, and he went out there with a Goal in mind. Not only did he go out there and perform well, he Brought home two medals–in two separate weight classes. Destin placed 2nd in the 12u 78lbs division, and he placed 6th in the 12u 85lbs division. Destin stepped on the mat, strapped on his headgear, laced-up his shoes, and he towed the line with a fire in his heart, and he got the job done. He is back and ready to continue his journey. |
