| Cooper Sandoval has wrestled for over eleven years through USA Team Nevada, Sierra Wrestling Association and Nevada Elite Wrestling. Throughout his youth career he achieved Ten NV State Titles, RMN Tri-State and Golden Gear, World of Wrestling All-American and Four USA Western Region Champion Titles. Cooper while representing his Club and State on several National Dual Teams, achieved All-American status at Wildwood Nationals, VAC Duals, Middle School National Duals. Notably, Cooper capped off his Youth Career while traveling to the Tallinn Invitational in Estonia and becoming a Tallinn Invite World Champion for USA. |
| Cooper is now a Freshman at McQueen High School. Cooper finished his high school Freshman year Undefeated in both the Regional and State Competitions, with a record of 15-0. Cooper was the only Freshman in the state to win a Nevada State Title, which he did in the 5A Division. Dominic Ruiz and Cooper were the only Two Northern Nevada 5A Boys State Champions in 2024. During Cooper’s Freshman season, he also won the Ceres Invitational, Redwood Invitational and Armijo Invitational. He was a medalists at the Rollie Lane Championships and MidCals. |
| Cooper became the First Freshman to win a State Title for McQueen High School in 33 years. Cooper’s greatest memories this year were obviously spending every weekend with his McQueen teammates, but also witnessing his training partners’ career growth. Notably, Ella Kavanagh (Douglas) win Regionals, Bella Coronado (McQueen) win Nevada State, Abe Coronado win 16U Nationals and Lucas Forman’s Acceptance to wrestle for Wyoming Seminary (SEM) Academy. |
| Off the mat, Cooper has helped raise over $100,000 through his Art and Advocacy for local nonprofits. His goal is to wrestle in college while getting a degree in fine arts and animation. |
