Bronx has just turned 11 years-old and started wrestling at the age of 4. He was the youngest in the room and spent his first 12 months getting beat-up everyday. It never phased him. He didn’t mind getting taken down over and over again, and getting his head slammed into the mat. He would get up and carry-on attacking. From that young age the coach said he has something special–he will be a good wrestler when he’s older.
He started competing in local tournaments and only having only one loss his first season. He went on to win a Nevada State title his first year of wrestling. He then took the Triple-Crown. From then on until now, he has won every State Title, in all styles, that he has competed in. He has represented Team Nevada 12u in Duals, and also other teams around America in 10u, 12u and 15u.
His most recent competition was Reno Worlds, known as one of the hardest competitions around. He went in and went up a weight bracket. He ended up having a total of 5 matches and won them all–4 by pin, so he won his bracket. He had competed in 2 out of the 3 World of Wrestling competitions, and from this, he ended up ranking Nationally as the number Two wrestler, and making the World All Star Team.
He’s super appreciative of his coaches and teammates at Gold Rush Wrestling Academy. Bronx has high hopes for college, and he would love to qualify for the United States and compete in the Olympics.
His total accomplishments over his career so far are: 7 x NV State Champion 2 x NV Triple Crown 6 x TOA National Champion 3 x Utah National Champion 6 x Western Regional Champion WOW Tulsa Kick-Off Champion Reno Worlds Champion 2021/2022 WOW World All Star Team WOW National ranked # 2 21 x RMN National Champion RMN Tri State Champion RMN Triple Crown Winner RMN Golden Gear Winner 3 x RMN National Outstanding Wrestler Marines Western Regional Triple Crown 5 x All American RMN National ranked number 1 in 4 different weight classes
