Kayden started wrestling at the age of six with his brothers and has had a love for the sport ever since. He trains wrestling five days a week at Gold Rush Wrestling Academy and does his Strength and Conditioning with his dad pretty much every day. He is very self-motivated and hungry to succeed.
This season his goals were to win State and win Battle for the Belt in Temecula, California. He achieved both of these goals, but his main goal was to Place 1st in the World of Wrestling National Rankings, and he did it. The final leg was at Reno Worlds where he won his Division, and he also got awarded Outstanding Wrestler for pinning all his kids in the quickest time.
He has now set new goals for himself for the next season, and we’re confident he will do well. His short term goal is to qualify for the Junior Olympics. His long term goal is to go to Bishop Gorman for high school and to wrestle in a D1 college.
