My name is Amado Castellon. My wonder years were rough, tough, and restless. I have to say Wrestling was the perfect sport for me to join at the age of eight. My older brother, Jesse introduced me to it. I joined Bad Boy Wrestling Club, and at the first tournament I placed 4th place, and I was surprised. I wasn’t even wearing a singlet.

I then joined Team GV and was wrestling at my best. I knew then that I had a passion for wrestling. Coaches Jake Rollans, Bill Sullivan, Rob Cate and Dan Burgess were big influences, and a bigpart of who I am today. I was traveling to other states with them as well, and that was a big plus for me.

I attended Cimarron Memorial High School and was part of their Wrestling Team. My coaches Mike Garcia and Bill Stanley always pushed me to the limits, and I took wrestling to a higher level. I will always be very grateful for their support towards me. In their wrestling room I met Britain Longmire and Kevin Caruso and wrestled/trained with them and got better. I placed First Place three times in High School Regionals, and I am a Two-Time Nevada High School Runner-Up.

I currently attend Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa, and I am on their Wrestling Team. I am looking forward to a lot more wrestling in college, and I am very excited to see where this new journey will take me, and make me! I am a Sophomore. I am majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology. I am blessed with a daughter named Atalie. I would like to thank my parents for always supporting me, and my girlfriend Natalie for being there for me and making me a better man every single day.
